Yes. Might work. Try it, you can't hurt nothing. You might have to reboot to get it to work. Also, some modern cables are one way (the signals only flow one way), but older cables will work both ways. You might need a cable with "power." They have a little square box on the cable that plugs into the computers usb plug for power. Your display port is on the monitor, right? Your might need a convertor cable. Coverts the lower quality hdmi from the pc, to the higher quality dp monitor. HDMI is very high quality. But if you are into the gaming, your might want to get a card with dp pligs installed into your pc, about $20.00 or so on up. Some cost hundreds. They cost more because the have built in ram, fans, etc. to make the gaming screen run faster.

If it does nor work, try updating your computer. I heard years ago when I did the video, sometimes Windows 10 did not work with dp plugs, I hope Microsoft got that fixed by now with a software update.

I'm no expert on this stuff, but I think it will probably take out swirls. I use it all the time, works great on small scratches. Bigger scratches it works a little by hand, might work better with a machine buffer.

I can't say for sure these days, but I'm guessing you can. It was not cheap, I think her first order was about $25,000. Then as she kept adding to it over the months, I think it was close to $50,000 or so. I've seen older used ones for under $10,000.

Ha ha! I had just bought, I think three days. That was my first driveway! And it has not snowed since I bought it. Winter 2023-2024 I only used it one time, and it would have been faster to clear it with a shovel. Winter 2022-2023 three times, and third time was just for fun, same for Winter 2021-2022. Just cost me about $700 6/2024 to maintenance the plow, new fluid, new main power cable. Now it needs an exhaust manifold, that''s another $700+.

OK, great question!I think I see what you're asking, and what I forgot to say in the video. For that type of cap, when you can take the key it out of it, the cap is in the locked position (there is nothing protruding from the cap that tells you it's in the locked position), Then when you insert the cap, turn it a little till you here the rattle noise, the cap is locked. It does not work like a deadbolt on a door...you do not see the slide lock moving in and out.

I have a newer car, and the locking cap on that car, you can actually see a piece of plastic moving in and out to lock the cap on when you move the key. I'm gonna do a video on that soon, it's been on my to do list for a few weeks, I was gonna try to do it today while it raining. I'll do another video on this older style cap to, to see if I can better explain it. There is really nothing it it, once you get the hang of it. Buy one at the auto parts store, and get the salesperson to show you how it works. Practice with it at the store for a few minutes till you get it. If you can drive a car, this cap thing is a piece of cake.

Hi Joann! Clockwise. On mine in the video the key won't come out till it is put in the locking position. That's the way my new one works too. They are not difficult to use, just fiddle with it for a while. Jim
